CHRISTIANS SHOULD ALWAYS PRAY

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. To pray without ceasing means we are

consistently in a spirit of prayer. We can pray various prayers throughout the day as

the Lord brings particular needs to our attention. You can pray while walking, driving

your car, lying in bed at night, sitting in your office, or any time a need comes to my

mind. To obey God’s commands to pray, Christians must make a habit of praying

throughout the day as God reminds us to pray through requests and circumstances,

…Don’t stay away from church because there are hypocrites— there’s always room

for one more.

For telling the truth;

For living a pure Christian life;

For your faith in Jesus Christ;

For acknowledging your sins;

For doing your best;

For thinking before judging;

For forgiving your enemies;

For helping a fallen brother;

For being loyal to the church;

For standing by your principles;

For being courteous and kind;

For money given to the Lord’s cause;

For being honest in business

•To show God’s sovereignty.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation

taken you but such as is common

to man: but God is faithful, who will not

suffer you to be tempted above that ye

are able; but will with the temptation also

make a way to escape, that ye may be

able to bear it.

•To make us more than conquerors.

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto

God, which always causeth us to triumph

in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour

of his knowledge by us in every place.
